This 1835 converted semi-detached barn was originally part of the steam run Sawmill in Parkend. The cottage features bespoke furniture and woodwork made by the owners. It is located on the edge of the village, on a quiet cul de sac, adjacent to the woods and also close to the Nagshead Nature Reserve. It is easily possible to walk in any direction from the cottage for miles and not use your car until your return journey home. One of the spurs of the dedicated cycle trails passes the cottage, enabling hours of discovery for all ages.
Parkend village provides a Post Office with a shop and has two dog friendly pubs serving good food. A steam railway runs regularly from Lydney to Parkend for railway enthusiasts.
We accept a well behaved dog.
